Assessing the age based on photos

As part of a study on life expectancy, the team Kaare Christensen of the University of Southern Denmark, found that people whose face appears younger generally live longer than those appearing most their old age. By "older than their age" people understand that these traits were tired and air raplapla. Not least of 1826 Danish twins who participated in this research. Its principle? Photos of volunteers aged over 70 years were presented to nurses and students are responsible for assessing their age. So that their responses are not influenced, nurses and students had no idea the age of the volunteers and estimated age of each twin on different days. Then, the life of twins has been followed over a period of seven years. Researchers have thus found that the volunteers identified as living younger longer. Specifically, the study showed that when given the age of twins differed, one identified as the eldest died before the other.
