Age determines the fertility of women


The maximum fertility of a woman between 25 and 29 years. Then it decreases slowly and progressively until the age of 38. At 39 years, fertility shows a free fall.

Meanwhile, the percentage of spontaneous miscarriage increases with age. It is 15 to 20% overall, but over 40% after 40 years.
